Bracing myself for the usual windy greeting from Guyot, I was pleasantly suprised to find that the it was actually warmer on the summit - it appeared as a temperature inversion might be underway. At this point I noticed that I no longer had my GorillaPod, which was a bit of a bummer from the photography angle of the trip - it had slipped out from one of my waist pouches somehow. So if anyone finds a little goofy looking tripod thing between South Twin and Guyot...

Leaving my pack at the West Bond junction, I skipped over to Bond for another magnificent view of absolutely nothing, save for a rather fashionable cairn. Atop West Bond, the summit cairn sported a campy overhang, while the area around it was smattered with rock dust - no doubt the remnants of Ranger Dick's many taxpayer funded trips to obliterate those unsightly summit cairns that everyone has been complaining about.
